Year: 2022

Born and raised in Brewton, AL, Camille Holley started Yoshikai karate at the age of five years old at the local YMCA, and earned her black belt on December 1st, 2012. Holley attended Pleasant Home School and became highly involved in high school sports, causing her to take time away from karate. After two years at Coastal Alabama Community College, she transferred to Bryan College to pursue a bachelor's degree in Communications with a minor in Mathematics. God moved in Holley's life to bring her back to her first love athletic love and used martial arts to traject her life in a different way. Along with competing for the martial arts team, Holley has also competed as a thrower for the track and field team. She has earned All-Conference honors in the Javelin and holds the program record in the shot put. Holley is currently serving as the Graduate Assistant to the Athletic Department at Bryan College. While a Graduate Assistant, she continues to compete on the track and field team as a thrower, earned a third-degree black belt in Isshinryu Karate, and serves as an Assistant Instructor for the Martial Arts Academy. Holley has a heart for the purpose and work of Bryan College knowing that the Lord's hand is upon it. Her hope is that Jesus would be magnified through the works of Bryan and that students would get a glimpse of who Christ truly is.
