Weinburger is an outfielder for Bryan baseball and came to Dayton from James Cistern, Bahamas. The senior is wrapping up his final year and will be receiving a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise and Health Science. Weinburger has been an anchor to the Lions' deadly presence at the plate, helping earn the reputation as a powerful hitting program. Over the past four years, Weinburger has started in all 189 games and been a perennial standout hitter in the NAIA, ranking amongst the best in homeruns, runs scored, runs batted in, and total bases. His 22 homers belted in a single season are the 2nd-most in program history. He also owns the record for runs scored and runs batted in. He's sent 54 of his 217 total career connections over the fence and turned 29 into doubles and 10 into triples. He's scored 206 times and driven in 198 runs while totaling 428 total bases and stealing 41 bags. For his career, Weinburger owns a .320 batting average and a .631 slugging percentage. Weinburger is one of just 11 members in Bryan baseball history to earn the distinction of All-American. He was part of a 2018 team that captured the program's first-ever AAC regular-season championship and was a part of the most successful regular-season in program history. He's been honored as an All-AAC member and made his mark being crowned AAC Freshman of the Year his debut season. This year, Weinburger and his teammates pieced together an overall record of 14-6 and conference mark of 4-2 while going 9-2 on their own Senter Field. Four of their victories included sweeps of a top-25 team and one receiving votes.

Bryan Baseball Head Coach, Clint McAuley, said "Wade has been at Bryan for quite a few years now, and it has been impressive to watch his character grow and develop during his time here. That is especially true with the past year. Wade has stepped up as a leader on the team and within the Bryan community. His involvement with Bryan ministries has grown, and so has his relationship with the Lord. He is a man I am proud to represent Bryan, the athletic department, and the baseball team."
